Service Provision Description:
Associated with the global increase in production and the specialization of agricultural holdings. immeasurable amounts of waste have emerged on farms, namely slurry, whose storage, associated with enteric fermentation processes, and distribution contributes to the emission of Greenhouse Effect Gases (G.E.E.) of nitrous oxide (N2O), nitrogen (N2) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx), carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) and ammonia (NH3) (Chadwick, D. et al., 2011; FAO, 2017) to the environment and nitrate ions ( NO3-), ammonium (NH4+) and also organic N dissolved in groundwater and surface water.
In order to understand the occurrence of odor emissions from existing farms in the vicinity of the Parish of Feteira, a study will be carried out on the management of animals in them.
