Service Provision Description:
The ATHENA consortium is composed of 10 partners from 8 countries, predominantly from Eastern Europe, from countries such as Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia, a country southern Europe, Italy and two Outermost Regions of the European Union, the Canary Islands (Spain) and the Azores (Portugal). The composition of the consortium took into account the integration of countries and regions that are not very active in the implementation of Gender Equality in research institutions or characterized by a low Gender Equality Index (GEI), as well as Outermost Regions that often present marked disparities in terms of gender in employment rates.
