Service Provision Description:
This project involves monitoring several colonies of seabirds in the Azores during the breeding season, to record the abundance, breeding success and reproductive rate of these species (Shearwater: Calonectris borealis, Frulho: Puffinus lherminieri, Painho-da-Madeira: Hydrobates castro, Painho-de-Monteiro: Hydrobates monteiroi, Black soul: Bulweria bulwerii).
Field work will be carried out in the following colonies: Pico (Mistério da prainha, Monte), Santa Maria (Ilhéu da Vila), Graciosa (Islet of Praia). In addition to fieldwork, this service provision involves participation in workshops, scientific dissemination events and team meetings for data analysis, promoted by the FRCT.
