Service Provision Description:
This project aims to evaluate the processes of contamination by hydrocarbons and their derivatives in the NE and SW sectors of the Lajes graben (Main Gate Area -Posto Um; South Tank Farm- Paul and Cinder Pit Fuel Park - Pico Celeiro Fuel Park) and the analysis of the decontamination works carried out since 2010 in these locations.
This work includes the following phases: (a) preparation of a bibliographic synthesis, based on confidential documentation provided by civil and military entities with jurisdiction over these areas; (b) assessment of the resulting environmental problems, namely the impacts on water and soil environments; (c) analysis of ongoing decontamination processes; and, (d) submission of monitoring and remediation proposals.
