Service Provision Description:
The provision of Services includes the carrying out of studies of "Preliminary assessment of the risks of coastal flooding"; the elaboration of "coastal flood charts"; and the elaboration of "coastal flood risk maps".
These tasks implement the schedule foreseen for the 2nd planning cycle for the Azores Hydrographic Region (RH9) in accordance with the provisions of the Floods Directive (Directive no. /EC, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 23 October). The works involve the production of digital cartography (GIS) and are scheduled for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020.
