Service Provision Description:
This provision of services aims to prepare the “PaleoParque Santa Maria Action Plan”. This action plan should include, among others, the following aspects (not ordered by priority):
Detailed characterization of the 20 fossiliferous deposits; Delimitation of the geographic limits of all deposits; Conducting two SWOT meetings with stakeholders (one at the beginning of the project, the other at the end); Definition of types of use and restrictions per deposit; Discussion of the possibility of existence of buffer zones; Presentation of conservation and monitoring measures, with the respective costs; Harmonization and integration of the measures suggested above, with the conservation policy of the Regional Government of the Azores; Presentation of proposals for an adequate dissemination strategy for PaleoParque Santa Maria, with the respective cost per measure.
