Main Objectives:

This congress, in addition to marking the 20th anniversary of the first cycle of studies in communication sciences at this university (the Degree in Communication and Public Relations), will be the first edition of a biannual meeting of communication sciences at UAc. As it is the first edition, CICOM Azores 2022 will not have a call for papers, and its program consists of conference panels of researchers and professors from the UAc area and from different universities in the country (Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, Universidade da Beira Interior , University of Coimbra, University of Madeira, University of Minho, Universidade Nova de Lisboa), who were invited for this purpose. In addition to these panels, there will be collaborative sessions around case studies in the areas of consultancy and digital marketing that bring together teachers, researchers, students, professionals in the area in the region and former students of the UAc study cycles (Master in Communication Sciences; in Social Communication and Culture and Degree in Communication and Public Relations).
