Main Objectives:
After the official recognition of yet another autochthonous breed in the Azores, it becomes relevant and timely to promote an event that discusses the potential and sustainability of the Azorean autochthonous breeds. Of the current six officially recognized breeds, two are canine, two equine and two bovine, and must be promoted as a product of excellence in rural and economic development. Through the participation of regional and national speakers and taking as an example races that have thrived in the national economy, it is intended to contribute with new ideas, concepts and opportunities to increase their potential.
