Main Objectives:
The emergence of innovative technologies and new business models based on innovation, cooperation networks and the valorization of endogenous resources is a strong contribution to the development of competitive economies around the world. Innovation and Engineering, focused on the sustainability of resources, play a fundamental role in this context. ICIE is an event that is not only based on a purely academic dimension, but also technological and innovative, transversal to the most diverse sectors of activity. The objective of this conference is to make this moment an opportunity to showcase the set of innovations and achievements in engineering, as well as transmit to all participants an overview on how to enhance the bases for the creation of knowledge networks and business cooperation, involving Innovation, Engineering and entrepreneurship stakeholders. This edition is especially focused on new trends and developments in a context of more advanced technology and capacity for innovation, being able to create added value for the economy and society, based on some basic principles such as human well-being, the environment and resource sustainability.
