Project Description:
The project aims to investigate marine bioproducts that can be incorporated into compatible biomembranes for application in the health area. The project involves the preparation of compatible biomembranes that can incorporate bioactive molecules that confer anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antimicrobial capabilities. Bioactive molecules will be screened in algae extracts after hydrolysis with glycohydrolases and proteases.
