Service Provision Description:
Conducting a hydrological study in Serra da Velha – Pico Island, with a view to building water capture and storage structures for agricultural supply.
The provision of services will encompass the development of the following works:
1. Bibliographic synthesis and field recognition;
2. Climatological characterization based on local meteorological records;
3. Surface and underground hydrological characterization;
4. Geological and pedological characterization, giving relevance to erosive processes;
5. Conducting at least two in situ infiltration tests;
6. Carrying out a water balance at ground level;
7. Preparation of a final report.
