Service Provision Description:
The present provision of services aims to carry out the "Study for the Characterization of the Reference Environmental Situation of the Area Surrounding the Ecoparque I of the Island of São Miguel", through which it is intended to characterize the situation in the area surrounding the future installation of the Waste Energy Recovery Plant on the Island of São Miguel, before its entry into operation.
It is also intended to establish a reference base from which the effect of incineration can be discriminated, through a physical-chemical analysis of the soils and biomonitoring with lichens, characterizing the environmental situation of soils and air quality, in terms of the presence of pollutants, to serve as a reference in future monitoring programs.
