Service Provision Description:
The XII Regional Government of the Azores, in compliance with the provisions of its Government Programme, is working on the definition and implementation of a Regional Strategy to Combat Poverty and Social Exclusion under the coordination of the Regional Directorate for Social Solidarity.
In this context, both because of the scale of the task and because of the centrality of the issue in the context of this Government's political action, the University of the Azores presents itself as an unavoidable partner, namely for its attention that it has dedicated and the studies that its faculty has developed in the area of poverty and social exclusion.
