Main Objectives:

The Workshop on Rural Tourism in the Autonomous Region of the Azores aimed at Entrepreneurs and Specialists, within the scope of the GREAT Research project - Genuine Rural Experiences in the Azores Tourism, operation code ACORES-01-0145-FEDER-000089, aims to be celebrated on October 15, 2021, in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, on the Island of São Miguel, city of Ponta Delgada. The event aims to bring together nationally and internationally renowned specialists in the field of rural tourism as well as successful entrepreneurs in the area. In this way, through the above mentioned work session, it is intended to transfer knowledge from the academic environment to the regional tourism sector and vice versa, enabling mutual advances in both fields. That said, the relevance of the event is evident not only at a regional scale, but also at a global scale through the possible creation of work networks (during the event and after the event) as well as the multiplication of the results for other events or casuistics. similar in nature in different territories.

Project Description:

In the heading "Travel and accommodation" are provided for the expenses of 2 speakers, one from Funchal and the other from Lisbon. "Other services" includes expenses for coffee-breaks and renting the room where the event will be held. Overheads equivalent to 10% of direct costs are foreseen.
