Main Objectives:
1. Present, to the general and broader public, and to the specialized public, communications and topics arising from the research of CHAM Postgraduates.
2. Promote greater discussion and coordination between researchers, integrating very different contributions and themes.
3. Discuss/debate concepts and theoretical-methodological frameworks
4. Promote the convergence of research and, eventually, establish future work synergies.
5. Promote interdisciplinary discussion.
6. Create partnerships and collaborations with entities and companies in the community.
Project Description:
This colloquium is part of the activities carried out by the Postgraduate Forum of CHAM - Humanities Center.
Taking identity(ies) as something that can be understood and constructed at an individual and collective level, we will seek to question, debate and, eventually, deconstruct the concept through different lines of analysis:
- Conceptual and methodological issues;
- Identity(ies) and memory;
- Individual and collective identities;
- Policies and Identities;
- Identitarianisms;
- Identifications and categorizations;
- Self-understandings and social rental;
- Communality, connectivity and groupness;
- Identity(ies) and intersectionality
- Heritage and material culture.
Results:
The achievement of the objectives listed above, focusing on:
1. Reinforcement, construction and deconstruction of the concepts of Identities, in a contemporary, critical and inclusive approach.
2. Broad dissemination of accredited research by young researchers, in a scientific forum, but also in an extra activity at the AH Library and Archive.
3. Access to this knowledge and issues by various audiences, including non-specialists.
4. Reinforcement of rapport and scientific discussion.
5. Promotion of interdisciplinarity.
